The committee works to produce the best possible rodeo they can, volunteering their time and resources to put on a good show for the 15,000 people who attend each year.
They do all aspects of rodeo production: ticket organization, programs, maintenance and upkeep of the rodeo grounds, hiring of personnel, record keeping, sponsorship and advertising, and the production of the event during its three-day run.
The rodeo committee does not take any profit from this rodeo, nor does any committee member benefit financially.
Each committee man and the hundreds of volunteers give of their time, resources and skill to produce an event that has the biggest economic impact on the county throughout the year.
If the rodeo makes a profit (and there are years it does not, due to rain or other uncontrollable factors), the extra money is turned back into the next year’s rodeo.
The committee strives to keep ticket prices affordable for families and finds great satisfaction in producing one of the highest quality pro rodeos in the state.
They are proud to continue the tradition of Kansas Biggest Rodeo!
