Phillipsburg native Nikki Brobst serves as the 2007 Phillipsburg Rodeo Queen. The daughter of Darrell and Deb Brobst, Nikki was crowned at Kansas' Biggest Rodeo last August and will represent the Phillipsburg rodeo as she visits rodeos across the region.
Nikki graduates from Phillipsburg High School in May of 2008. Her extra-curricular activities include Phillips County 4-H and Horse Project, membership in American Quarter Horse Association, KAYS (Kansas Association for Youth), First Lutheran Church Youth Group, volleyball, track, forensics, school play and one-act play.
In her spare time, Nikki enjoys riding and working with her horses Missy, a 6 year old red roan quarter horse, and Lily, a one year old palomino quarter horse.
In addition to the Phillipsburg Rodeo Queen crown, Nikki has served as Ellis County (Hays, Kansas) Princess in 2003 and Ellis County (Hays) Rodeo Queen in 2005.
After high school graduation, Nikki will attend Fort Hays State University in Hays. She hopes to major in pre-vet/animal science and compete on the rodeo team.
